Nutrition data: Meals you log, including food names, calorie counts, macronutrient values, serving sizes, and meal timestamps.
Health and fitness data: Workout entries, weight logs, water intake, fasting sessions, and daily step goals.
Meal photos: Photos you capture for the photo meal scanner feature. These are sent to our servers for analysis and are deleted immediately after processing is complete.
Subscription information: Your subscription status is managed through Apple's App Store. We do not directly collect or store payment card details.

2.2 Information Collected Automatically

Device information: Device model, operating system version, unique device identifiers, and app version.
Usage data: Features used, interaction patterns, crash logs, and performance data to improve the App.

2.3 Apple Health (HealthKit) Data

If you choose to enable Apple Health integration, Burnly may read and write the following data types with your explicit permission: step count, active energy burned, basal energy burned, exercise minutes, workout sessions, body mass (weight), and dietary energy consumed. HealthKit data is never used for advertising, is never sold to third parties, and is never transferred to any party without your explicit consent. This data stays on your device and syncs only with Apple's Health app.

Provide, operate, and maintain the App and its features
Analyze meal photos to estimate nutritional content
Calculate personalized calorie targets, macronutrient goals, and workout suggestions
Sync health data with Apple Health when you enable the integration

4. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored securely on encrypted servers. All data transmitted between the App and our servers is encrypted using TLS 1.3. Meal photos are processed in real-time and are never stored on our servers after analysis is complete.
